I laughed when she said it. Over egg salad sandwiches at the Bambu Cafe. “So, what is your five year plan?”
After I finished choking on my eggs, I was like wow. I want to be a great employee at my new job. I want to spend time with my family and friends. Grow my garden. Write my bestseller.
The question itself is right up there with what’s next?
If you have no plan, how do you know where you are going?
Remember that list I talked about in a previous blog?
Yes I do keep lists. Seriously though. I have a fairly good idea of what I want to accomplish. And I tend to add a few new things.
Usually finance planners have their heads all up into the five year plan. Corporate planning. Retirement planning.
How about “you” planning? What do you want you to look like in five years? Spiritually. Mentally. Emotionally. Physically.
Now what can you do to get there?
Have a good day or evening, when you read this. Wherever you are. Be encouraged. If you do not have a plan, it is never too late to start. More on that tomorrow. Make sure you have a pen and notebook. Or of course you can copy and paste. 🙂
P.S. Molly Moo says hello to her fans. My kitty from the rescue got her snuggles in this evening when it got windy outside. Storms are predicted tomorrow.
